Concealed Carry Restaurants List

I've been lurking here for a bit, but after seeing that list, I just had to register and comment. I wonder what would happen if all the CCW friendly groups would get together, create a "business card" that basically says "I'm a responsible gun owner. I don't carry and drink. You've just lost my business". Then when you come up on a "No Guns" eatery, leave the gun in the car and drop the card with the manager. :?:

I like this idea! :D

Maybe add a little more info about how this business "...advocates keeping the legal gun owner out and letting illegal guns come and go within their establishment... after all, only the law abiding gun owner will adhear to the sign posted and law written..."

If you guys are really interested in something like that, I will shop around at the local card printing places. If I can get a good deal, maybe I can afford to supply people with enough. If not, I'll have it set up so you can walk in and buy some from the shop.

Thank you. Got the idea to make us visable from Corrections Corp. of America. When they established their private prison, they reportedly made their first payroll by giving their employees unusual cash, like $2 bills or silver dollars. That way, as they spent their pay, CCA's presence as an employer was obvious to the community. If an eatery gets 100-200 "you've lost my business" cards dropped on them, the impact becomes obvious.

I rarely go to resturants, but I'm curious if anyone has noticed the sign anywhere. Wow I just realized I rarely go out in public much, well besides work. But if I ever do I'd rather not go to a resturant with a sign inviting criminals. Might as well say in big letters, unarmed citizens inside, criminals welcome.

I found someone who can do them fairly cheap. I'll have someone help me design them a bit, and then I'll give out details on how to pick a few up from me.

You should add this to one side of the cards.....

I....
am not a fugitive from justice
have not been convicted of a felony
am not currently under indictment for a felony
have not been adjudicated mentally incompetent
am not addicted to alcohol or controlled substances
have satisfactorily completed a firearms training course
have submitted to a national criminal history record check
have not been convicted of a misdemeanor offense involving driving while under the influence
have not been convicted of a misdemeanor offense involving assault, battery

These are the requirements for me to be permitted to carry a concealed weapon. I am not a criminal, I could be your best customer.

Or something along those lines......All of that was taken off of the Statutes and Limitations for concealed carry application
