Just a reminder that the Ruger New Mexico Rimfire Series Southwest Regional is coming up on Aug. 14-15. I'm going to register in the Limited class with my Ruger MKIII and and the Open class with my 10/22!

So how was the rimfire shoot? Did you have a good time? Learn anything cool?

Yes, I had a good time. My squad was the slowest one though. I placed 41st of 84 overall and I think I got 11th in my class (Limited). I was a bit nervous the first couple of stages, but now I wouldn't have any problem doing it again. It was all steel set up differently. I got kinda cocky when it came to rifles and made a few mistakes. Oh well it was fun. I won an ArchAngel 10/22 stock system. They were also giving away six Ruger .22's! I'd do it again.
